  1. Saw tyre in half
  2. Spray paint tyre

  1. Paint Tyre with PVA Paint as a base coat
  2. Poke 2 holes in the plastic bag for drainage
  3. Once dried, place plastic bag in the bottom of the Recycled Tyre as a liner
  4. Paint Pattern and add animalistic features as chosen
  5. Pour in potting mix and fertiliser once dried
  6. Plant colourful, bright and easily maintained flowers
  7. Admire your cute animal planter

How to Make a Backyard Tetherball Game | DIY

Equipment Needed

  • Old Tire
  • Plastic sheet
  • Piece of plywood
  • 8ft Metal Pole
  • Tetherball
  • Drill
  • Trowel
  • Wire
  • Wire Cutter
  • 160lbs Concrete
  • Bucket

Time Estimate: 24 hours

1. Put your wood down and then plastic over it

2. Add the tire on top of the plastic

3. Mix Concrete into the bucket

4. Fill mixed concrete into the tyre

5. Drill 3 Holes (2 at the bottom, 1 at the top)

6. Put your eye bolt into the top hole

7. Wrap the wire around the rebar to hold it in place

8. Insert the pole into the concrete

9. Use wood to brace the pole
