6 Reasons Why Too Much Negative Camber Isn’t a Good Idea

A negative camber refers to the angle placement of the wheel in a way that the bottom is further out than the top of it. This could potentially cause the steering on the car to be locked up, which would be especially dangerous in an emergency situation. On some car setups, having a negative camber can also increase the risk of the brakes locking up as the car may fail to engage the brake mechanism properly.

A negative camber setup can potentially cause the car to have its traction significantly compromised in wet conditions. This can considerably increase the braking distance and impact its overall handling.
